What our properties publish under.
These standards govern the properties MMG owns and how our team produces work everywhere it operates. Client properties publish under their own editorial policies — these are the rules we hold ourselves to.
Accuracy
Factual claims are sourced. Numbers carry dates. We do not publish experiential judgments — how a record sounds, how a product feels in use — that our editors have not formed themselves. Every edition passes a five-point pre-publish check covering accuracy, disclosure, voice, formatting, and brand safety before it ships.
Disclosure
On MMG-owned properties, sponsored placements and affiliate relationships are disclosed where they appear. Readers should never have to guess whether a recommendation was paid for.
Human accountability
We use AI heavily in production — drafting, research, assembly — and we say so. Accountability is not delegated: a human operator owns every MMG property, sets its standards, and answers for what it publishes. Opinions, verdicts, and recommendations are formed by people.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it in the published piece and say so. Errors can be reported to any property's reply address or to grow@margen.media — replies are read by the operators, not a ticket queue.
Commercial independence
Sponsors buy placement, not verdicts. Editorial conclusions are never contingent on commercial relationships, and we decline sponsorships that require them to be. Brand-safety standards apply to every advertiser we accept on our properties.
